Covid-19 Resources

Since President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the nationwide lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic which brought forward school closures, the devastating effect the situation could have on the learners of our schools became imminent.  School communities were immediately faced with the challenges of long-term school closures and forced educators, parents and learners to be creative and think critically. FEDSAS supports the preservation and promotion of a culture of excellence in teaching, education and service delivery, even when the normal trend does not currently apply.

We created a Covid-19 related information and resource page with the purpose of improving access to information. With this in mind, we created a shared drive in Google where you can access documents, resources, videos, and links to other sites. This drive is open for the public and you don't have to be signed in. This resource centre for educators, learners and parents will avail information in various formats - all to assist our education community during these challenging conditions.

Please click on the image below to access this drive. Navigate through the folders to review all the available resources. Also, check in regularly because additional resources will be added as needed. Also keep an eye on our social media for communication on the available resources.

We have also created a special Covid-19 Smalls page where suppliers can advertise their services. FEDSAS members will get 10% discount on these products.  Please visit the Smalls page by clicking HERE.

For SGB members who are logged in on our website, we also have a course available compiled by Mrs Joyce Ras, an industrial psychologist, to help leaders to thrive in this challenging time. The course is Time2Lead - Thrive in Chaos and contains lessons with videos and reading material.
